Nisqually Reach

Nisqually Reach Estuary by Foot and by Paddle

Trip is full.  Let Karen know if you would like to be added to the wait list.

Experience the Nisqually National Wildlife Area both on foot and in your boat! First we’ll walk part of the Estuary Boardwalk Trail to learn about the different species of birds that inhabit the area, as well as the aquatic life. Then, on a rising tide we’ll get in our boats and explore the estuary and mouth of the Nisqually River. If conditions are good we can paddle to Anderson Island for lunch. This is a great location for practicing your kayak photography!
